Baritone & Music Director
Go Pack Go! Though he is a born and raised Cheesehead from West Bend, Wisconsin, Nick is actually loving life up in the Twin Cities; especially since he gets to arrange and sing a cappella for a living! Nick fell in love with choir during his college days at UW-La Crosse, and after graduating with a BS in Music Theatre he fell out of it as he performed on ships and in shows. Luckily the choir bug always bit in the right spot, and Nick is ever grateful to be singing in a group once again!
Eric "Buegs" Buegler
Buegs hails from the tundra of Baudette, MN. He started singing and entertaining the family when he was very young and they haven't been able to shut him up since! He studied at the University of Minnesota Duluth. While there, he sang with the award winning vocal jazz group, "Lake Effect." Buegs loves his time with friends and family, and LOVES making people laugh!
Paul's first experience drumming was on a big bass drum in his high school marching band. In the ‘90s a friend introduced him to vocal percussion, and Paul took it up obsessively! He started touring with an a cappella group the next year and he continued to tour with various groups in the midwest for nearly a decade before he "retired" from a cappella in 2006. However, in 2013 Paul was asked to fill in with a group for the summer. He had so much fun performing again, he decided to keep at it and helped to found The Sound Exchange later that year. Paul continues to jump around like a maniac and make drum noises with his face at every show, as well as serving as The Sound Exchange's soundman and resident "old guy".
Caleb is a self-proclaimed music loving dork. Whether it be a cappella, dubstep, or opera, he loves it all. Caleb has never lived in any one place long enough to call it home, and grew up moving all over the midwest. He attended Concordia College for two years in Moorhead, MN, and then spent a year at Northwestern University in St. Paul, MN. He finally found a home on stage with The Sound Exchange, and loves every second of sharing his love for music with their audiences.
A songbird since childhood, Alicia loves to sing several styles of music including jazz, musical theater, pop, R&B and many more. Throughout the Twin Cities she has performed multiple tributes to one of her favorite singers of all time, Judy Garland, and continues to showcase her rather spot-on impression of Garland's vocal style.
Alicia is thrilled to be a part of The Sound Exchange and looks forward to all of the adventures still to come with this great group of gentlemen!
